What's New in EnforceDNS!

Bonus Release!

Typically, we release new features and capabilities one time per month, on the second Thursday. However, we’ve been working double-time and wanted to introduce a couple new things ahead of schedule. We hope you find value and as always, please let us know if you have any questions.

Agent - Temporary Bypass     NEW

We are pleased to announce an exciting new feature in the latest update of the EnforceDNS Agent. Administrators now have the ability to grant end-users the option to temporarily disable the EnforceDNS Agent for 5 minutes.

Benefits:

• Greater Control: This increased control enables more precise management of security measures, ensuring that the system is protected without compromising on user accessibility.

• Increased Flexibility: End users can now rest assured that in unique situations requiring EnforceDNS to be disabled for vital job functions, they have the capability to do so.

• Windows. Look for feature parity with MacOS Agents very soon.

Agent - In-Place Updating IMROVEment

The EnforceDNS Agent now supports updating directly from the central management console! This capability eliminates the need to uninstall and reinstall older versions, streamlining the update process and ensuring all users have the latest protection readily available.

Benefits:

• Efficiency: Update agents quickly without the lengthy process of uninstalling and reinstalling, saving valuable time for administrators.

• Minimal Disruption: Perform updates with minimal interruption to end-users, ensuring that their work is not significantly impacted during the update process.

• Simplified Management: Manage and deploy updates from a single console, reducing the complexity of maintaining the EnforceDNS Agent infrastructure.
